Beyond The Vault
Remix Anthology
Beyond The Vault Remix Anthology is a virtual concept tying together three unofficial Sunscreem megamixes: Trip On This, The Infinite Present, and Lost & Found.
Released 14 months after The Infinite Present, the 15-track Trip On This (2022) mostly covers O3-era tracks. It has been styled as Remix Collection ❶, to better align with natural chronology of Sunscreem’s original work.
The Infinite Present Remix Collection ❷ (2020) features remixes from all six singles off Change Or Die , the band’s second studio album. This 13-track megamix had a working title Trip On This.

Fun Facts
- The title Trip On This was originally given to the first finished megamix – a 10-track / 77-minute version of The Infinite Present. The early artwork had 10 squares, representing the first 10 tracks (White Skies to Secrets ) of The Infinite Present.
- In late 2020, it was determined the original Trip On This would be part of a series, and its title was changed to The Infinite Present. The band felt strongly Trip On This aligned better with Walk On , which was not part of The Infinite Present.
- The current version of Trip On This was finished in 2022. Chronologically, it covered the earlier material than The Infinite Present. The originals behind the remixes were in the range 1991-1999 and covered 5 out of 6 singles from O3, the band’s first studio album. remixes were in the range of 1991-20, Anna Crusis, and included best versions of The titles for each part of the series would be based on lyrics from the first track of that megamix. Thus, The Infinite Present was born, and the original title was later reused for the next megamix.
- The artwork concept is based on the periodic table of elements. The tracks take place of chemical elements, with each being part of a stained glass construction.
- The stained glass installation is Gabriel Loire’s impressive “Symphonic Sculpture.” The image was taken on a trip to the Hakone Open-Air Museum in Kanagawa Prefecture, Japan. Other sections of the Symphonic Sculpture are used on the Music page to label the Playlists.
- Color coding explained: Green – remixed by the band; Magenta – alias; Orange – Sunscreem production under an assumed name; Yellow – Jimmy Gomez remix; Cyan – remixed by others.
