Sunscreem’s third studio album Out Of The Woods was completed in 1997 after a string of seven Top 40 hits and five dance chart #1 singles. However, after a dispute with their record company, it was never released, and the band and songwriters Lucia and Paul gave up recording to concentrate on bringing up a family. Twenty-one years later, the album is available on limited CD release for the first time.
SUNSCREEM HQ notes (2018)
“Out of The Woods” was recorded in the turbulent period during which writers Lucia and Paul left their major record label, the band members dispersed to start other projects, and then their new record company crashed just as the first single “Catch” had climbed to the top of the dance charts in both the UK and USA. The album was never released, however a number of promotional copies were made and distributed among fans. Some tracks – notably “Who Will Love Me Now” – were remixed and released separately. Twenty-one years on, the full-length original album of 13 tracks is released.
Sunscreem’s third studio album “Out Of The Woods” created two top-5 dance singles, a remix album and even a worldwide hit for another artist… however the album itself was never released. Twenty one years later, the recordings are released in their original form on November 23rd.
