- Love U More is, in fact, the first Sunscreem release. The first promotional 12” single, with the band credited as Sunscream, was released in the spring of 1991 and contained the Band Of Gypsies Mix (and edit) and Dub U More (by an unknown remixer). However, the record company strongly favored Walk On as first commercial single. Although the response to the mixes was overwhelmingly positive, at the time the band did not have a finished, radio-friendly version of the title song. This delayed the release of the single until the summer of 1992. By that point, Pressure had already been released.
- Up to the early 1992, the version of Love U More performed by the band live was what is now known as Doved Up (Vocal Mix), later included on O3 – Special DJ Remix Edition (1993), and available on this site as an Audio Post . When remixes for Love U More were finally commissioned by the record company in 1992, the vocals were re-recorded (with the heavenly ‘ooh-ooh-ooh’ bits added) and dispatched to the remixers along with splits for Doved Up . This may explain why Farley/Heller and Slam remixes of Love U More sound so much like remixes of Doved Up.
- UK 12” Vinyl – Special Gatefold Edition contains Record 1 (658172 6) of a 2-disc set, with room for ‘Remixes’ 12” (658172 8) released one week later. It is common to find the 2×12” gatefold set with both records inside.
- UK 12” Vinyl ‘Remixes’ (658172 8) – Record 2 of a 2-disc set, often comes as part of a gatefold 2×12” set with 658172 6.
- Doved Up was the original version of Love U More (1991 and early 1992) until the finished A Version replaced it sometime in 1992.
- Love U More (Drowning In Your Love) is, in fact, a remix of Perfect Motion and has nothing to do with Love U More.
- Boys Dub – A noticeable mastering glitch is present at 4:54. The offending artifact was removed from all post-1992 versions by simply eliminating several seconds of audio.
- Band Of Gypsies Mix / Extended 12” / Love U More (1991): Original vocal recording.
- Doved Up on UK 7” vinyl is a fade-out edit of Doved Up (Vocal Mix) found of O3 – Special DJ Remix Edition.
- Dub U More on 12” Promo (XPR 1649) is an edit of a mix by an unknown remixer. The edited version of Dub U More does not feature samples of (what sounds like) Egma’s Let The Bass Kick (1991) and is almost 40 seconds shorter than the original mix. The full version (with samples intact) is available on this site as an Audio Post .
